- I live in Tucson as well and have attended Congress on your Corner in the past. I would hope that maybe some day in February every member of congress could hold a Congress on your Corner event the same day in honor of Giffords.

- I don't think I can adequately explain how it felt to be in Tucson the last 5 days, but after all the sadness I felt a similar sense of wanting to celebrate all that is good in America especially after this dark moment and to say we will overcome.

- As an adjunct instructor at U of A, I have long been opposed to State Senator Harper's bill. I feel guns have no place on campus except with campus police. I believe in the 2nd amendment but I think you can have reasonable limits.

- Just because 65% of people agree with something doesn't make it right. You could find the same level of support for women not having the right to vote, segregation and banning inter-racial marriage before the civil rights era.

- Obviously, you don't know Tucson. To call Hotel Congress a fancy hotel is a joke. It was a great event and I'm glad I went. The border is not a laughing matter, but how republicans are framing the issue IS.
